We have had this a few times before - but the recurring job numbers always use the same job number as the one preceding it.
We need the option to select if this issues a new job number on job create, or uses the existing job number - perhaps also the option to prefix the existing job number i.e. 1234-01, 1234-02, 1234-03 etc.

Koenig & Bauer use the Clone feature that sound like it does this already:
Two methods of cloning:-
First method:
Original job number 100-51
Clone job number 100-51 for the additional Technician on the same job and the job ticket becomes 100-51 (1)
Clone job number 100-51 again for a further additional Technician and the next job ticket becomes 100-51(2)
Second method
Original job ticket number 100-51
Clone job ticket number 100-51 for a return visit and the next job ticket becomes 100-51(1)
Clone job ticket number 100-51(1) and the next job ticket becomes 100-51(1)(1)
Clone job ticket 100-51(1)(1) for another return visit and the next job ticket becomes 100-51(1)(1)(1)
Clone job ticket 100-51(1)(1)(1) for yet another return visit and the next job ticket becomes 100-51(1)(1)(1)(1)
etc etc
Note: at the time of cloned job ticket 100-51 (1)(1)(1) which is the 3rd return visit, this triggers a Management Escalation email alert
